Giant Escape R1

My first foray on the Cyclescheme - started off looking at a minivelo - Giant Escape Mini 1 - but bottled it and bought this more conventional bike for under £300 - a lotta spec for the money though.  A small size I had to make it fit me though - though 17 frame would be ok coming from an 18 - guess not!


Full commuter mode with 10W lighting, SKS Chromoplastics and Marathon+ 700x32:

Will and Kate's wedding day was the perfect opportunity to convert my ex commuter into a CX machine!

Drop bar experiment - reach was too far... a shame.

Chop and flopped - improved reach but could not resolve cable routing issues :(
